Inspired by the album by Rone.
- 1¼oz Canadian rye whiskey (Masterson’s 10 year)
- ¾oz Amaro Sibilla
- ½oz Amaro Dell’ Etna
Stir and serve without ice in a chilled rocks glass.
Very nice balance highlighting the fresh rye spice and complex bitterness from the amaro. Surprisingly sweet.
Meletti variant
- 1½oz Canadian rye whiskey
- ½oz Amaro Sibilla
- ¾oz Amaro Meletti
Really good. Bitter, sweet, juicy and spiced. Floral note in the Meletti chimes with the honey note in the Sibilla.
Works just as well with equal parts Sibilla and Meletti.
Boulevardian variant
- 1oz bourbon
- 1oz sweet vermouth (sake-based Bermutto!)
- ½oz Sibilla
- ½oz Meletti
Best one yet? Rounds out the cloyingness of having the cocktail be half liqueur, without hurting the complexity.
Up the bourbon to 1¼oz and reduce vermouth to ¾oz for a slightly richer drink.
Terroir variant
- 1oz Terroir gin
- 1oz Meletti
- 1oz Sibilla
Nice (and not completely dominated by the Terroir) but not as fun as the whiskey versions.
