Did some generative art tutorials over the 2021 holiday period. Code-as-art-medium feels like learning a new technique, and actually deciding what to draw feels more creative and expressive than I’m used to.
I was working through the book Generative Design, redoing its examples (originally in Processing) in Rust and Nannou, then tweaking them a bit to see what effects I could get. The resulting code is on Github.
