Mochavardier cocktail

  • 1½oz Mocha Bourbon
  • ¾oz sweet vermouth
  • ¾oz Campari or other red aperitivo
  • ⅛oz Smith & Cross Jamaican rum
  • 1 dash orange bitters

Stir and serve over large ice with a cherry.


  • 1½oz Mocha Rye
  • ½oz sweet vermouth
  • ½oz triple sec
  • ¼oz Amaretto
  • ¼oz Campari

The triple sec and amaretto go together surprisingly well and complement the chocolatey notes in the mocha whiskey. Campari provides some tang and vermouth balances out the booze-heaviness.
